About our services in Sheffield

Who are your cleaners and how do you find them?

So you’re looking for consistent and reliable house cleaning services in Sheffield. Who do you choose? We know there’s a lot of choice from companies similar to ours like Helpling, through to large national franchises like Merry Maids.

Here are some reasons we think you should give Cleanily a try. And notice we say try. We don’t make you sign a contract and there’s only 24hrs notice on cancellation.

  • We only work with what we refer to as ‘career’ domestic cleaners: Individuals who have been working for more than 5 years as either housekeepers in a reputable hotel chain, or in continuous service as a home cleaner.

  • We conduct an interview session with each cleaner in their own home prior to taking them on. Then obviously reference check and vet.

  • Our cleaners get paid well. You pay for what you get - attention to detail, experience and reliability. We are extremely transparent about how we charge - you can check this out in our pricing section and blog.

  • As we mentioned, there are no contracts or minimum bookings.

  • We time and GPS track all jobs. We only ever charge for the exact time your cleaner is with you. So, we’re flexible enough that if you don;t need much done one week, then you don’t need to pay for a lump sum ‘per visit’ charge, as with many companies.

  • Going on holiday? No problem, pause your cleans via your online portal.

  • Speak to a dedicated local manager on the phone.

How do I book a house clean?

It really is simple, just fill out the form, or give your local manager a quick call to discuss your requirements. This is a usually a quick conversation about what you’d like to prioritise in terms of rooms to be cleaned, pets, access and days and times you’d prefer.

Since we provide the same person every visit, and bearing in mind that many of our cleaners have been doing this for over a decade, they soon get into a routine.

The majority of our customers have between 2-4 hours on either a weekly or fortnightly basis. Some tag a bit of ironing onto the end, or rotate things like window cleaning or other items. We are able to undertake any domestic task so just let us know if there’s anything besides a standard regular clean that you would like doing

Obviously we’re fully insured to hold keys, so although there’s no need to be present, it’s often nice to meet your cleaner on the first visit. You can either leave them with a spare key, or place one in a discreet place to be posted back following each visit.

    How do I pay?

Again, like with all aspects of our home services, payments are very straightforward. Once we’ve agreed which day/time and frequency you’d prefer, we’ll send you a booking confirmation via email. Just follow the link to set up your account.

All cleaning jobs are started and finished via our custom app, so as long as the job duration and GPS coordinates are valid, we’ll automatically process a charge later that evening, and simultaneously send you a receipt/invoice by email.

So no direct debits, no minimum term contracts, no penalties for terminating, no need to remember to leave cash - Cleanily makes things easy.
